Baracklekvár

Baracklekvár, commonly translated as apricot jam, is a traditional fruit spread in Hungarian cuisine. The main ingredient is ripe apricots, which are cooked with sugar to create a sweet, spreadable conserve. Lemon juice or citric acid is often added to balance the sweetness and help the gel set. Some recipes include a small amount of pectin or rely on the natural pectin of the fruit; vanilla or other flavorings may be used, but the basic method remains straightforward.
