Bappi

Bappi Lahiri, born Alokesh Lahiri, was an Indian singer, composer, and music director. He was known for his distinctive style, often incorporating disco and electronic music into his compositions. Lahiri composed music for a vast number of Hindi films and also lent his voice to many of his own songs. He was a prolific artist, having released music for over 500 films in various Indian languages.

Lahiri's career spanned several decades, beginning in the 1970s. He achieved widespread popularity in the 1980s and 1990s with hit songs and soundtracks. He was also recognized for his penchant for wearing gold jewelry, which became a part of his public persona.
