BCE7th is a Canadian indie rock band formed in 2009 in Toronto, Ontario. The band is known for its blend of indie rock, post-punk revival, and alternative influences, characterized by energetic live performances and introspective lyrics. The name "BCE7th" is derived from the abbreviation for "Before Christ Era," combined with the Roman numeral for seven, reflecting a mix of historical and personal themes in their music.

The band consists of four members: Alex McMurray on vocals and guitar, Chris McMurray on bass, Matt McMurray on drums, and sometimes additional touring musicians. The McMurray brothers are the core of the group, with Alex handling lead vocals and guitar, while Chris and Matt provide rhythmic and harmonic support. Their music often explores themes of self-reflection, existentialism, and the complexities of modern life, delivered through catchy melodies and driving rhythms.
