Autoklaavikovaus
Autoklaavikovaus, or autoclave curing, is a processing method in which materials are cured or hardened under heat and pressure inside an autoclave. The term is used in Finnish technical literature to describe resin-based composites, ceramics, and related materials that are consolidated under steam and pressure in a sealed chamber.
Process overview: The material is prepared (for example, fiber-reinforced resin prepregs, cast resins, or compacted ceramics).
Applications and benefits: Autoklaavikovaus is widely used in aerospace and automotive composites to achieve low porosity
Limitations and safety: The approach requires specialized autoclave equipment and trained personnel. Costs are higher than
