Autechre

Autechre is a British electronic music duo formed in 1987 in Rochdale, England. The group consists of Sean Booth and Rob Brown, who have releases on Warp Records and have become one of the label’s most influential and enduring acts. Their early work helped define the sound of intelligent and experimental electronic music in the 1990s, while continually pushing into new sonic territory in subsequent decades.

Musically, Autechre is known for complex, algorithmic rhythms, abstract textures, and a willingness to explore unconventional

Notable releases include Incunabula (1993), Amber (1994), Tri Repetae (1995), Chiastic Slide (1997), and LP5 (1998).

Autechre’s influence extends across electronic music, inspiring artists in experimental techno, ambient, and computational music. They
