Atenclass is a fictional species of humanoid aliens introduced in the Mass Effect video game series, developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts. First appearing in Mass Effect 2 (2010), Atenclass are a highly advanced and enigmatic civilization that plays a significant role in the game’s narrative.

The Atenclass are described as a species of towering, humanoid beings with elongated limbs, smooth skin, and a distinct lack of visible facial features, giving them a serene and almost androgynous appearance. Their society is characterized by extreme pacifism, advanced telepathic abilities, and a deep reverence for knowledge and harmony. Unlike many other species in the Mass Effect universe, Atenclass do not engage in warfare or aggression, instead focusing on diplomacy, science, and spiritual enlightenment.

Their homeworld, Aten, is a lush, bioluminescent planet orbiting a binary star system, which contributes to the unique ecosystem and cultural values of the Atenclass.
