Askells is a fictional character from the *Viking* television series, which aired from 2013 to 2020. Created by Michael Hirst, the show is set in the late 9th century and follows the lives of Norse settlers in the British Isles, particularly in the fictional settlement of Limerick. Askells is portrayed by actor David Horovitch, who also appeared in the series as the character’s father, Askeladd.
