Asidei

Asidei is a village located in thesouth of Nigeria, in the Ebonyi State. The village is situated in the Ohaozara Local Government Area, which is bordered by the states of Imo and Abia in the east and west, respectively, as well as the local government areas of Ezza North in the north and Ezza South in the south.

Asidei is a relatively small settlement, known for its rich cultural heritage and its contribution to the local economy through its agricultural sector. It is home to several ethnic groups, with the Ebenebe being the predominant ethnic group in the area. The dialect spoken in the Asidei is primarily the Ezza dialect, a dialect of the Igbo language.

Agriculture has long been the mainstay of the Asidei's economy, with crops such as cassava, rice, and yams being the primary cash crops cultivated in the area. The export of these crops has significant monetary value, thereby generating a substantial income source for the village's economy.

The village is also endowed with a wide array of natural resources including mineral water, forests, and rivers. However, the exploitation of these resources for economic gain remains a contentious issue in the area, with some residents advocating for sustainable resource utilization while others calling for increased commercialization of the available resources.
