Apgararvio
Apgararvio is a standardized method used to assess the physical condition of newborn infants shortly after birth. It was developed by Dr. Virginia Apgar in 1952 and is typically performed at one and five minutes after birth, and sometimes again at ten minutes if the initial scores are low. The assessment evaluates five key signs: appearance (skin color), pulse (heart rate), grimace (reflex irritability), activity (muscle tone), and respiration (breathing effort). Each of these signs is given a score of 0, 1, or 2, resulting in a total score ranging from 0 to 10.
A score of 7-10 is generally considered normal, indicating the baby is adjusting well to life outside
