Aoias is a fictional autonomous region in the eastern archipelago of Eldoria, created for world-building in fantasy literature and tabletop role-playing. The name is drawn from an imagined old dialect meaning bright harbor, reflecting Aoias’s long tradition of seafaring.

Geography and climate: Aoias comprises seven main islands and numerous islets, connected by ferries and causeways. The archipelago features a temperate maritime climate, with green hills, coastal coves, and terraced fields on several islands. Forests provide timber and game, while coral bays support diverse marine life.

History: Aoias formed as a loose alliance among coastal settlements in the early medieval period and evolved into a formal federation after the Treaty of Sunspire in 1126.
