Andeskjeden
Andeskjeden is the Norwegian name for the Andes, the long mountain chain that runs along the western edge of South America. The range extends roughly 7,000 kilometers from the Caribbean-facing area in Venezuela and Colombia through Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia to Chile and Argentina in the south. It forms one of the planet’s most prominent continental features and influences climate, biodiversity, and human settlement across multiple countries.
