AlMamlakat

AlMamlakat is an independent sovereign state located in the southwestern part of the continent Aridia. The nation covers an area of approximately 34,200 square kilometres and is bordered by the Republic of Kansan to the north, the Federation of Kalir to the east, the Sea of Vesna to the south, and the Montara Range to the west. Its capital city, Al‑Qasr, sits at the intersection of the major river Arad and the Royal Plains, and it serves as the political, economic and cultural hub of the country.

The population of AlMamlakat is estimated at 4.8 million people. The demographic composition is diverse, with the majority belonging to the Al‑Mamlaki ethnic group, followed by various smaller communities such as the Kaliri, Morshi, and Ikan tribes. The official language is Al‑Mamlaki Arabic, although English and French are widely used in education and business. Islam is the predominant religion, and the majority of the population practices Sunni traditions.

AlMamlakat is a constitutional monarchy. The monarch, known as the Emir, holds a largely ceremonial role, while executive power rests with the Prime Minister and a three‑branch parliamentary system. The constitution outlines a balanced system of checks and balances, and the National Assembly is composed of 120 seats, elected through a mixed‑member proportional representation system.

The economy of AlMamlakat is diversified, with key sectors including timber, agriculture, mining of rare earth metals, and a growing tourism industry centred around the historic Al‑Qasr citadel and the surrounding natural reserves. The country has invested in renewable energy, particularly solar and wind farms, to reduce dependence on imported fossil fuels. In recent years, AlMamlakat has taken steps to improve infrastructure, education, and healthcare, contributing to a relatively high standard of living compared to its neighbours.

AlMamlakat’s history dates back to the early 6th century when the region was first settled by nomadic tribes. Over the centuries, it evolved through various kingdoms and empires, eventually becoming a unified monarchy in 1784. The modern state was officially recognized following the 1914 Declaration of Independence and has since maintained stability through a series of peaceful transitions of power. The nation is a member of several international organisations, including the United Nations, the African Union, and the Intergovernmental Organization of Trans‑African Forces.
