Aktörsmodellen

Aktörsmodellen, also known as the actor-network theory (ANT), is a theoretical framework used in various fields such as sociology, science and technology studies, and organizational studies. It was developed by Bruno Latour and Michel Callon in the 1980s. The model posits that social phenomena are not solely the result of human actions, but are instead the outcome of complex networks of human and non-human actors. In ANT, the focus is on the relationships and interactions between these actors rather than on the actors themselves. The model emphasizes the importance of the associations and translations that occur between actors. For example, a scientific theory or a technological artifact can be black-boxed, allowing it to be treated as a single actor within a network.
