Aivorungot
Aivorungot is the Finnish term for the brainstems and refers, in plural form, to the brainstem region of the central nervous system. The brainstem is the lower part of the brain that connects the cerebrum and cerebellum with the spinal cord. It comprises three main subdivisions: the medulla oblongata, the pons, and the midbrain (mesencephalon).
