Aichitavoitteiden
Aichitavoitteiden (Aichi Biodiversity Targets) refers to a set of 20 international targets adopted in 2010 under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) as part of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011–2020. Named after Aichi Prefecture in Japan, where the Nagoya Conference (COP10) was held, the targets aimed to address the underlying causes of biodiversity loss, reduce direct pressures on nature, improve the status of biodiversity, enhance benefits from biodiversity and ecosystem services, and improve implementation through participatory planning and adequate financial resources.
