Aethelburh
Aethelburh, also known as Ethelburga, was an Anglo-Saxon princess and abbess. She was born in the late 7th century, the daughter of King Oswiu of Northumbria and his wife Eanflæd. Aethelburh is primarily known for her role as the founder and first abbess of the monastery of Whitby Abbey in Northumbria, England.
