Aelianus
Aelianus is a figure whose exact historical identity is debated among scholars. The name most commonly refers to Aelian, a Roman orator and writer who lived from approximately 170 to 235 AD. He was a native of Praeneste and a student of the renowned grammarian Herodes Atticus.
