Aeels
Aeels, commonly known as eels, are elongated, snake-like fish belonging to the order Anguilliformes. They are found in marine, brackish, and freshwater environments across the globe, with the majority of species inhabiting tropical and temperate oceans. The life cycle of eels is complex and often involves a long migration. Many species begin their lives as larvae in the ocean, drift with currents, and then metamorphose into a juvenile stage called elvers. These elvers then migrate to freshwater or coastal areas to grow and mature. Once sexually mature, they undertake a remarkable journey back to their spawning grounds in the ocean.
Eels possess a slimy, scaleless skin, which aids in their movement through water and sediment. Their fins
