Adressë

Adressë is an Albanian noun meaning "address." It denotes the location used to receive mail or packages and, in digital contexts, the destination identified by a communications address, such as an email inbox or a website URL. The word covers both physical and electronic destinations and is used across administrative, commercial, and everyday language.

Orthography: In standard Albanian, the common forms are adresa or adresë. The spelling "adressë" is seen occasionally in older texts or as a nonstandard variant. When the term is used in phrases, the appropriate form adapts to gender and case in Albanian grammar.

Postal address: A typical postal address includes the recipient's name, street name and number, locality, city, postal code, and country. In Albania and other Albanian-speaking areas, addresses follow local postal conventions; postal services often require a legible arrangement and sometimes a postal code to ensure delivery.

Electronic address: For electronic communications, Albanian speakers say "adresa elektronike" or "adresa e email-it" for an email address, and "adresa e internetit" or simply "URL" for a website address. An IP address is commonly referred to as "adresa IP."
