Additionare

Additionare is a term used in some mathematical and computational texts to denote the act or process of adding. It can function as a verb meaning to perform addition and, less commonly, as a noun referring to the operation itself. The word is not standard in major dictionaries and is considered a neologism or localized usage in several Romance-language contexts, often derived from Latin additio meaning addition, with a Romance suffix -are to form verbs.

In mathematics, additionare describes a binary operation that combines two elements to yield a sum or a larger composed element.
