Aborigines

The Indigenous population of Australia is estimated to be around 700,000 people, representing approximately 3% of the total population. However, this figure is likely an underestimate, as many Indigenous Australians identify as non-Indigenous due to historical and contemporary factors. The Indigenous population is concentrated in remote and rural areas, with significant disparities in health, education, and economic outcomes compared to non-Indigenous Australians.
