Aberration testing is not about finding every single bug, but rather about discovering critical flaws that could significantly impact the user experience or system stability.

Several techniques can be employed in aberration testing. Fuzz testing, a common method, involves providing a large amount of random or semi-random data as input to a program to see if it crashes or behaves unexpectedly. Another approach is negative testing, which focuses on verifying how the system handles invalid inputs or error conditions. Stress testing and load testing, while primarily focused on performance, can also reveal aberrations under extreme conditions. The results of aberration testing are then documented, and the identified aberrations are reported to developers for correction. This iterative process helps in building more robust and reliable software.
