Aberdeenshires is a colloquial term that sometimes refers to the Scottish council area of Aberdeenshire. This administrative region is located in the northeast of Scotland. It is bordered by the Moray council area to the west, Highland council area to the north, and Perth and Kinross and Angus council areas to the south. The North Sea lies to the east.
