Abarth
Abarth is an Italian manufacturer of performance vehicles and tuning kits. Founded in 1949 by Austrian-born engineer Carlo Abarth, the company initially focused on producing aftermarket exhaust systems and performance parts for various Italian car brands. Abarth soon gained a reputation for its innovative tuning and racing prowess, often associated with Fiat automobiles. The iconic scorpion emblem, representing Carlo Abarth's zodiac sign, became synonymous with sporty and agile cars. Over the years, Abarth has produced its own limited-production sports cars and has become a prominent tuner for Fiat models, transforming them into high-performance versions. In 1971, Abarth was acquired by Fiat, and its identity has since been closely linked to Fiat's performance offerings. Today, Abarth continues to offer sportier variants of Fiat models, characterized by enhanced engines, sport-tuned suspensions, distinctive styling, and performance-oriented interiors.
