Apisoth is a Gen 8 Pokémon from the Pokémon franchise. It is a Rock/Dark-type monster that was introduced to the public in the 2021 video game Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. Apisoth is known for its unique appearance, with two large claws attached to its arms, resembling those of an insectivorous mammal.

This Pokémon is said to possess a honey-like substance on its body, which serves as a repellent against its enemies. Its claws, made entirely of rock, are said to be so strong that they can crush through hard surfaces. Apisoth can be detected by its high-pitched buzzing noise, which is often used by it as a signal during battles.

Apisoth is a single Togetherness Pokémon, which means that its level is always one level higher than the average level of its surrounding Pokémon. It can be found naturally in the Stormy Cave area of the Sinnoh region, which was first introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Apisoth has been widely used by various professional trainers due to its versatility in battle.

Apisoth's signature move is the Quiver Dance move, which was first introduced in Generation 8. During this move, Apisoth will sporadically dance, making its body spin using its multiple claws. In its dance pattern, there is a probability of poisoning its opponents due to released poisonous substances during the dance.
