The Airbus A319ceo is a narrow-body twin-engine jet airliner developed by Airbus. The "ceo" designation stands for "current engine option," indicating it is the original variant of the A319 model, later succeeded by the A319neo (new engine option). The A319ceo is a shortened version of the A320, sharing a high degree of commonality in terms of cockpit, systems, and airframe. This commonality allows airlines to operate a mixed fleet of A319, A320, and A321 aircraft with a single type rating for pilots and reduced training costs.
