A10s

A10s refers to the A10 Fusion chip, a system on a chip designed and manufactured by Apple Inc. It was first introduced in September 2013 with the launch of the iPhone 5s. The A10 Fusion was notable for being Apple's first quad-core processor. It featured two high-performance cores for demanding tasks and two high-efficiency cores for less intensive operations, aiming to balance power and battery life. This dual-core architecture, often referred to as a "big.LITTLE" design, was a significant advancement in mobile processing at the time.

The A10 Fusion also included a six-core graphics processing unit (GPU), providing improved graphics performance for gaming and other visual applications. A dedicated image signal processor (ISP) was integrated to enhance camera capabilities, enabling faster autofocus, better low-light performance, and improved video recording. The chip was built using a 16-nanometer FinFET manufacturing process, which contributed to its power efficiency. The A10 Fusion powered subsequent Apple devices including the iPad Pro (9.7-inch), iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus. Its introduction marked a key step in Apple's ongoing development of powerful and efficient mobile processors.
