54548
54548 is a numbered minor planet located in the inner region of the asteroid main belt. The object was first observed on 19 May 2001 by the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) survey at the Lincoln Laboratory’s Experimental Test Site near Socorro, New Mexico. Its provisional designation was 2001 SV22, and it received the permanent number 54548 in 2005 after its orbit was well determined from multiple oppositions. The asteroid has not yet been assigned a proper name and remains referred to as 54548 in scientific literature.
Orbital analysis indicates a semi‑major axis of approximately 2.44 astronomical units, an eccentricity of about 0.17,
Photometric observations suggest a rotation period of about 4.5 hours with a light‑curve amplitude implying a
Given its size and orbit, 54548 is considered an ordinary main‑belt asteroid. It has not been targeted
