10D is a term used to denote ten-dimensional space in mathematics and ten-dimensional spacetime in physics. The label is used across disciplines to indicate a system with ten independent dimensions.

In mathematics, 10D commonly refers to Euclidean ten-dimensional space, denoted R^10, consisting of ordered 10-tuples of real numbers. Operations such as vector addition and the inner product generalize from lower dimensions, and geometric intuition becomes less reliable. Some results concern the geometry of high-dimensional spheres, hyperplanes, or linear transformations in ten dimensions.

In theoretical physics, ten dimensions are central to superstring theory. The five consistent superstring theories are formulated in ten spacetime dimensions (nine spatial plus one time). To connect with the four-dimensional world, the extra dimensions are proposed to be compactified on small manifolds, such as Calabi-Yau spaces. M-theory, which unifies the string theories, is typically formulated in eleven dimensions.

Outside mathematics and physics, 10D may appear as an identifier in software, datasets, or literature to indicate a ten-dimensional model or configuration, but its meaning is dependent on context.
