Þingeyjar
Þingeyjar is a small village located in the north of Iceland, approximately 150 kilometers east of Reykjavik. It is situated in the municipality of Skagafjörður, in the region of Norðurland eystra. The village is known for its picturesque landscape, which includes the nearby Þingeyrarfoss waterfall and the Þingeyrarsandur sandur, a large sandur plain. Þingeyjar is also home to the Þingeyrar church, a historic building that dates back to the 19th century.
