Überschlagschutz refers to safety systems designed to prevent or mitigate the risks associated with a vehicle rolling over. This can include a variety of technologies and structural features depending on the type of vehicle. In passenger cars, it often involves electronic stability control (ESC) systems that can detect an impending rollover and intervene by applying brakes to individual wheels to regain stability.
