Øyangen

Øyangen is a lake located in the municipality of Nesbyen in Viken county, Norway. The lake is situated in the Hallingdal region and is part of the Drammensvassdraget river system. Øyangen has a surface area of approximately 3.7 square kilometers and a maximum depth of around 40 meters. The lake is fed by several smaller streams and rivers, and its outflow contributes to the Hallingdalselva river.

The surrounding landscape is characterized by mountains and forests, typical of the Norwegian alpine environment. The area around Øyangen is popular for outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, and in winter, cross-country skiing. The lake is known to contain fish species such as brown trout and perch. Infrastructure around the lake is limited, with some cabins and recreational areas present. Access to Øyangen is primarily via local roads. The elevation of Øyangen is approximately 570 meters above sea level.
