ØEG refers to the Österreichische Elektrizitätswirtschafts-AG, which translates to the Austrian Electricity Corporation. It was a significant state-owned energy company in Austria. Established in 1947, ØEG played a crucial role in the development and expansion of Austria's electricity infrastructure throughout the latter half of the 20th century.
