Övermättnade

Övermättnade is a Swedish word that translates to "oversaturated" in English. It is most commonly used in the context of chemistry and physics to describe a solution that contains more dissolved solute than it can normally hold at a given temperature and pressure. This state is achieved by carefully dissolving a solute in a solvent at a higher temperature, and then slowly cooling the solution without disturbing it. Any small disturbance, such as adding a seed crystal or agitating the solution, can cause the excess solute to crystallize out, returning the solution to a saturated state.

In a broader, more figurative sense, "övermättnade" can also refer to something being excessively full, overloaded, or saturated with content or information. For example, a news report might be described as övermättnad if it contains too much detail or too many unrelated facts.
