Ägarspill is a Swedish term that translates to "owner spill" or "owner loss." It refers to the phenomenon where the value of an asset decreases for its owner due to factors that are not directly related to the asset's intrinsic quality or market demand. This can occur in various contexts, including business, finance, and personal property.

In a business context, ägarspill might arise from internal inefficiencies, poor management decisions, or a lack of strategic direction that erodes the company's value for its shareholders.
