This scent can be from various sources, including body odor, perfumes, detergents, fabric softeners, or environmental smells like smoke or cooking odors. The persistence of these scents can be influenced by several factors.

The type of fabric plays a significant role. Natural fibers like cotton and wool tend to absorb and hold onto odors more readily than synthetic materials such as polyester.
