Verbeilläon is a coined term used in speculative and constructed-language linguistics to describe a hypothetical verb-morphology type. The name is a Finnish-inspired blend of verbi ("verb") and on ("is"), intended to signal a focus on verbal structure. It is not part of mainstream typology and has no canonical grammar; it appears mainly in discussions about language design and theoretical morphology.

In a verbeilläon system, a single verb form may carry information typically distributed across multiple grammatical domains. Proponents imagine verbs that encode subject and number, tense and aspect, mood, voice, evidentiality, negation, and sometimes object or argument marking. The information is bound into a core verb with supporting affixes or clitics, giving the verb a high degree of informational density. Two variants are often discussed: tight-binding, where most information remains within an extended verb stem with affixes; and loose-binding, where auxiliary particles are still used for some features but the verb remains highly informative.

Example constructs are used to illustrate the idea. A hypothetical verb V1 could signal first-person singular, past perfect, indicative mood, active voice, and direct evidential stance in a single word, removing the need for auxiliary words. A second form V2 might encode third-person plural, present progressive aspect, negation, and obviation of discourse within the same verb complex.

Verbeilläon serves as a thought experiment to explore the limits of inflectional density, language learnability, and the trade-offs between verb-centric versus periphery-marking grammars. It remains primarily a theoretical construct rather than an attested natural-language feature.
