Ventriküllerden is a term derived from the Latin word "ventriculus," meaning "little belly," and often refers to the chambers of the heart or the fluid-filled cavities within the brain. In the context of the heart, the ventriküllerden are the two lower chambers responsible for pumping blood to the lungs and the rest of the body. The right ventricle pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs for oxygenation, while the left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood to the systemic circulation. These chambers are characterized by muscular walls that contract rhythmically to generate the force needed for blood circulation.

In neuroanatomy, the ventriküllerden are a system of interconnected cavities within the brain that are filled with cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). There are four main ventriküllerden: the two lateral ventricles, the third ventricle, and the fourth ventricle. These structures produce, circulate, and absorb CSF, which plays a vital role in protecting the brain from physical damage, removing waste products, and maintaining a stable internal environment.
