Veiksmaodinis is a term used in Lithuanian linguistics to refer to a form derived from a verb that functions as an adjective or noun, i.e., it describes or characterizes a noun by an action, state, or property expressed by the verb. It is a broad category that includes participles and other deverbal adjectives. The notion and exact boundaries vary among grammars, but most analyses treat veiksmaodinis forms as originating from a verb and differing from non-verbal adjectives in their verbal origin.

Morphology and syntax: In attributive position, veiksmaodinis agrees with the noun in gender, number, and case (as ordinary adjectives).
