Safety and regulatory compliance are central, covering licensing, inspections, insurance, fatigue management, and safety programs. Environmental goals emphasize fuel efficiency and emissions reduction, with growing use of electric vehicles and alternative fuels. Economic performance is tracked via metrics such as on-time performance, vehicle utilization, maintenance costs, fuel efficiency, and total cost of ownership.
