Valuelessness is the state or property of lacking value, worth, or significance as judged by a specific framework or evaluator. In axiology, value is often distinguished as intrinsic (worth in itself) and instrumental (worth as a means to an end). Valuelessness occurs when something has neither intrinsic nor instrumental value under the criteria being applied, or when the criteria render it irrelevant.
