valgusrikkeid
Valgusrikkeid, often referred to as valgus faults or valgus deformities, are anatomical deviations characterized by an outward angulation of a limb or a part of the limb. The most common manifestation is genu valgum, or "knock knees," where the knees angle inward and touch or nearly touch when the legs are straightened. This can lead to the ankles and feet remaining apart. Other areas can also be affected, such as the foot (pes valgus), where the ankle rolls inward, causing the arch to flatten.
The causes of valgusrikkeid are varied and can include congenital factors, developmental issues, trauma, or underlying
Diagnosis typically involves a physical examination, assessing the degree of angulation, and observing the patient's gait.
