vahetöö
Vahetöö, also known as exchange labor or bartering, is a system of trade where goods or services are exchanged directly for other goods or services without the use of money. This practice predates monetary systems and was common in many ancient societies. It involves a mutual agreement between two or more parties to swap items or skills based on their perceived value.
The core principle of vahetöö is reciprocity. Both parties must agree on the fairness of the exchange.
While less common in modern economies with established monetary systems, vahetöö still exists in various forms.
