vSNAREid

vSNAREid is a computational tool designed to predict and analyze vesicle-associated membrane protein (vSNARE) proteins in eukaryotic organisms. SNARE (soluble N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive factor attachment protein receptor) proteins play a critical role in vesicle trafficking, facilitating the fusion of transport vesicles with target membranes during intracellular transport processes. vSNAREs, a subset of SNARE proteins, are located on the surface of vesicles and pair with complementary tSNAREs on target membranes to mediate membrane fusion.
