Diagnosis of color vision deficiency typically involves a color vision test, such as the Ishihara color test or the Hardy-Rand-Rittler pseudoisochromatic plates test. Treatment for color vision deficiency is not typically available, but there are strategies to help individuals cope with their condition, such as using color-coded systems or learning alternative methods for tasks that rely on color discrimination.
