Uutteesta is a fictional coastal town and municipality in Nordlinia, a northern European-inspired region. Located on the western shore of a sheltered inlet known as Vellim Bay, it sits within a boreal climate zone and is surrounded by evergreen forests and rocky coastline. As of the late 2010s, the municipality had a population of about 9,000 residents and covered roughly 40 square kilometers.

The town features a protected harbor, a lighthouse, and a mix of residential blocks and historic wooden wharves. The climate is maritime subarctic with cool summers and cold winters; precipitation is frequent year-round.

Uutteesta originated in the 17th century as a trading outpost and fishing depot. It developed into a small port town with shipbuilding, later integrating into Nordlinia's federation in 1923. The late 20th century saw diversification into services and tourism.

Economy relies on commercial and sport fishing, seafood processing, small-scale manufacturing, and tourism. The harbor accommodates ferries to neighboring islands and cargo vessels; regional road network and a nearby airstrip support transport.

Uutteesta operates under a mayor-council system within Nordlinia's regional framework. The population is predominantly Nordlinian-speaking, with small communities speaking minority languages.

Key landmarks include Uutteesta Lighthouse, the Old Wharf, and the Maritime History Museum. The town hosts an annual midsummer festival featuring traditional music, crafts, and seafood feasts. Local cuisine emphasizes smoked fish, rye bread, and berry desserts.
