uitspringingen
Uitspringen is a Dutch separable verb formed from uit ("out") and springen ("to jump"). It has both literal and figurative senses and appears in everyday language, journalism, design criticism and sports. The past participle is uitgesprongen and, when used for physical motion, typically takes the auxiliary verb zijn (bijvoorbeeld: "Hij is uit het water uitgesprongen").
In a literal sense uitspringen denotes the action of jumping out or leaping away from a surface
Figuratively uitspringen means to stand out or be conspicuous. An object, passage or person kan eruit springen
Etymologically the verb shares roots with other Germanic verbs for leaping (compare German springen, English spring).
