Tööstusgaasid refer to gases used in various industrial processes. These gases are produced through a range of methods, including air separation, chemical synthesis, and extraction from natural resources. Common examples of industrial gases include oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, helium, and carbon dioxide. Each gas has distinct properties that make it suitable for specific applications.

Oxygen is widely used in welding, cutting, steelmaking, and medical respiration. Carbon dioxide finds applications in beverage carbonation, fire extinguishers, and as a refrigerant in its solid form (dry ice). The safe handling, storage, and transportation of these gases are paramount due to their potential hazards, including flammability, asphyxiation, and cryogenic temperatures.
