Tööaegadest refers to working hours in Estonian. Estonian labor law defines standard working time, flexible working time, and reduced working time. The standard working week is generally 40 hours, typically spread over five days. Employees have the right to a daily rest period of at least 11 consecutive hours and a weekly rest period of at least 48 consecutive hours.

Flexible working time allows employees and employers to agree on a working time arrangement where the employee can adjust the start and end times of their workday, within certain limits, while still fulfilling their contractual obligations. This often involves core hours during which all employees must be present, and flexible periods before and after.

Reduced working time may be applied in specific situations, such as for pregnant women, women with young children, or individuals performing work that is particularly strenuous or harmful to health. In such cases, the working hours are shorter than the standard 40 hours per week.

Overtime work is permitted only under specific circumstances and with the employee's consent, and it must be compensated accordingly, usually at a higher rate. Estonian law also provides for paid annual leave, the minimum duration of which is 28 calendar days per year. Employers are required to maintain records of employee working hours.
