Täyshaarniska is a small agricultural district situated in the central part of Finland, within the municipality of Tammela in the Pirkanmaa region. The settlement is located roughly 12 kilometers southwest of the municipal center, around 85 kilometers north of Tampere. Its elevation of 124 metres above sea level places it on the fertile plains associated with the Koillisjärvi moraine landscape.

Historical records first mention Täyshaarniska in the early 16th century, where it appeared as a modest farming outpost in the Livonian War archives. During the 19th century, the district developed modest infrastructure, including a small Lutheran chapel built in 1843 that now serves as a community heritage site. The introduction of the railway line through neighboring Pihlajavirta in 1885 brought improved connectivity, though Täyshaarniska remained largely self-contained, with its primary economic activities centered on dairy and crop production.

Today, Täyshaarniska has a population of approximately 320 residents, according to the latest municipal census of 2023. The local economy continues to be dominated by agriculture, with several family-owned farms producing locally sold milk, cheese, and winter staple grains. A cooperative store operates as a central point for daily necessities and serves the surrounding rural hinterland.

Transport links include a regional bus service that connects the district to Tammela and Tampere twice daily, as well as a bicycle network that integrates Täyshaarniska into the larger Pirkanmaa bike trail system. The district is also known for its small community center, which hosts cultural events, language classes, and a volunteer fire department rooted in the town’s long tradition of communal self-help.
